About Us

About Retro Motor Works

I’m a mechanical design engineer, but first and foremost, I am a car enthusiast. I love everything about vintage platforms—the styling, the raw driving experience, and the character. But let’s be honest: decades-old technology can hold a great car back.

I founded Retro Motor Works to bridge that gap. I don’t just copy old, outdated components. I engineer completely new solutions that seamlessly integrate modern technology, performance, and convenience into classic platforms, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds without cutting up your car.

The Engineering Approach

Every product on this site is treated like a formal engineering project. I don't guess, and I don't compromise. My approach is direct and backed by results:

  • Precision Integration: I use advanced digital modeling and meticulous physical measurements to ensure new, modern hardware sits perfectly within original factory spaces.
  • Industrial-Grade Materials: Automotive environments are brutal. Because of that, my components are engineered using high-tier, specialized materials like PA-CF (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon) and UV / high temp resistant resins. This ensures your parts can easily withstand high engine-bay temperatures, continuous mechanical stress, and aggressive UV exposure.
  • Functional Testing: Before a part is listed, it gets real-world testing. If it can't handle the vibrations, thermal cycles, and mechanical loads of a functional vehicle, I don't sell it.

Modern Tech for Classic Drives

Everything in the catalog is designed with a specific purpose—to upgrade your car's capability while keeping its classic soul intact.

  • Performance & Powertrain Modernization: Engineering the structural links required to adapt modern performance hardware to vintage blocks—like my Peugeot 205 GTi intake manifold for R6 bike carbs, which blends modern induction with classic French hot-hatch engineering.
  • Technical Adapters & Brackets: Smart, robust solutions to seamlessly bridge the gap between vintage chassis and modern electronic, fueling, or mechanical components.
  • Interior Tech Integration: Upgrading the cabin experience without ruining the period-correct aesthetic, including custom gauge pods, switch surrounds, and custom cluster upgrades designed to house modern monitoring tools and electronics cleanly.

Let's Talk Shop

Retro Motor Works isn't a massive corporate warehouse; it’s an independent engineering shop run by someone who values precision as much as you do. I handle the design, the material selection, and the quality control myself to ensure every component solves a real-world integration problem.

If you have a complex packaging puzzle on a custom build or want to adapt a specific piece of modern tech to an older chassis, feel free to reach out. Let's engineer a solution.
